Join us for a creative nature adventure! This workshop begins with a reading of In A Jar by Deborah Marcero, exploring how special moments can be remembered through collected treasures. Then, we will head outside for a walk through Grounds For Sculpture’s gardens to gather natural items like leaves, sticks, rocks, pinecones, and seedpods that have fallen from the trees. Kiddos will then use their collections to design and create their own unique nature mobiles. A variety of materials including paint, gems, beads and other decorative supplies will be available to personalize and embellish their creations. This workshop encourages creativity, exploration, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world! All Creative Kiddos workshops are designed for kids ages 6 to 8 working alongside their adult caregivers.
Children’s educational programming at Grounds For Sculpture is made possible by generous support from the Jirair S. and Elizabeth Hovnanian Family Foundation. Additional support is provided by PNC Foundation. Support is provided, in part, by Jenifer Morack and Schaeder/Batterman Family Fund of the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
