At Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) we believe that both art and nature have the power to heal, and we are committed to providing restorative, energizing, and inspiring health and well-being-oriented experiences for visitors of all ages.

Whether visiting for a leisurely stroll or engaging in a curated program, studies have shown time at museums such as GFS can increase levels of serotonin, foster new ways of thinking, and reduce stress. Connecting with art and nature can promote wellness by stimulating the mind, fostering social interactions, and awakening curiosity. Join us for a step toward improved wellness.

While visiting our beautiful sculpture park, we hope you’ll take a workshop that explores how the arts and the natural world can nourish and transform. Want to learn more about our offerings? See below!

Garden Retreat

The Garden Retreat is an annual event at GFS dedicated to self-exploration and wellness! Whether you’re looking to relax, recharge, or discover new ways to nurture your mind and body, this event has something for you. Experience a variety of activities including nature walks, yoga, Tai Chi, art-making, and more—all designed to support your personal wellness journey. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels, and tickets includes full access to workshops plus a soothing sound bath to close the day.

The next Garden Retreat will take place April 2026.
