Guided tours are available for an additional cost for grades 4th-12th grade school, camp, and youth groups numbering 50 students or less. Trained guides cover a select number of sculptures and teachers can pick one of these three tour types found here. Guided tours are an additional $5 per student and are subject to availability.
A non-refundable $50 deposit is due to confirm your visit. This amount will be deducted from the total amount due when full payment is collected.
Full Payment will be collected upon arrival at Grounds For Sculpture or can be prepaid in advance. We accept credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover), checks, or Purchase Orders.

All PK – 12 students must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Grades PK – 5 must be accompanied by (1) chaperone for every (5) students.
Grades 6 – 12 must be accompanied by (1) chaperone for at least every (10) students. Additional adults will be required to pay regular admission, unless due to the particular needs of your group additional chaperones are required.
PK–12 groups are permitted to carry unopened bagged lunches with them on the grounds to enjoy at designated eating areas. Student group eating areas are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In the case of inclement weather, please note that we cannot guarantee an available eating area inside. In such cases, groups may be asked to eat lunch on the bus.
Groups can also order bagged lunches to be picked up on-site. Orders must be received five business days prior to the date of your visit. A credit card number is required to guarantee your order. Accessible pathways run throughout the garden, and our Welcome Center and Domestic Arts Building are fully accessible.
Assistive Listening Devices are also available for visitors with hearing impairments during Guided Tours.

Please contact the Group Visit Coordinator at (609) 249-0200 as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your visit, and we will try to accommodate any changes. The $50 deposit required to confirm your visit is non-refundable for cancellations.
- What should we do if we are running late?
If your group is running late, please call (609) 586-0616 and let us know your new estimated arrival time. Groups more than 20 minutes late for guided tours may be asked to self-guide. - Where do we park?
Grounds For Sculpture has free parking on a first-come, first-serve basis. If traveling by bus, you will be directed to a designated parking area upon arrival. - Where do we check in?
When you arrive to Grounds For Sculpture, please check in and pay any remaining balance at the information desk located in the Welcome Center of the Seward Johnson Center for the Arts. Once your group is checked in, you will receive wristbands for all group members. Please make sure everyone in your group wears their wristbands throughout your visit. - Where do we meet for our Guided Tour?
Guided Tours meet at the Welcome Center of the Seward Johnson Center for the Arts unless otherwise noted. - Can we explore Grounds For Sculpture after our Guided Tour?
Yes, we encourage all groups to explore the grounds on their own after a Guided Tour. Chaperones must stay with students at all times when self-guiding throughout the gardens and exhibitions. - Where are restrooms located?
Restrooms and water fountains are located in the Welcome Center, Museum Building, Domestic Arts Building, Acer Courtyard and Gazebo. - Are there maps available of Grounds For Sculpture?
All guests are encouraged to explore GFS using our free interactive at gfsmap.org - Do you have a Museum Shop?
Yes, our Museum Shop is located in the Welcome Center of the Seward Johnson Center for the Arts. Please note, Pre-K-12 groups are welcome to visit the museum shop in groups of ten under adult supervision. - Is there a way to find out what artwork is on view before my visit?
