Join staff from veteran-owned Dao Concepts and keep that drive to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle! This series promotes overall wellness through the practice of Yang Style Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese art that blends exercise with stress reduction. Each week will include a warmup, followed by low-impact Tai Chi movements necessary to learn the 16 Step Yang Style Form. Taking place outdoors at GFS, this is a unique opportunity to focus on both body and spirit, as you will be surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of art. No experience needed.

Instructor: Tony Jackson graduated from the prestigious United States Military Academy (West Point) in the late 80s. Tony started his journey by serving his country as a 1st Lieutenant, Airborne Ranger Infantryman during the 1st Gulf War and Somalian Conflict.  But his story doesn’t end there. After leaving the military, Tony seamlessly transitioned into the corporate world, making waves in industry giants like Nestle, The Dial Corporation, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and AmerisourceBergen. His relentless drive and determination set him apart, creating a legacy that commands respect. Today, Tony’s mission has evolved. Through his business, Dao Concepts, he imparts his wisdom to others, teaching the transformative powers of Tai Chi, Meditation, and Self-Defense. Whether it’s helping adults find tranquility in a chaotic world or empowering kids to protect themselves, Tony’s passion and expertise shine through in every lesson.  Prepare to be inspired as you learn Tai Chi from Sifu Tony Jackson. His unwavering dedication to help you discover the strength within yourself learning this ancient form of Tai Chi. To learn more about Dao Concepts, please visit daoconcepts.com.
