This workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to composting, and provides tips and tricks to get started making your own “black gold” at home. Participants will receive personalized guidance and participate in hands-on demonstrations.

Instructor: Natalie Nowlen is a composting industry professional and environmental educator. In her 8 years in the composting industry, she has worked in settings ranging from windrows on a farm to industrial in-vessel aerobic digesters at a NJ university to small scale backyard bins in NYC.
