What would the world look like through a sparkly lens of winter wonder? This workshop begins with a fantastical reading of The Magic Kaleidoscope by Shelia Black, setting the stage for a journey into light, color, and pattern. Then, Kiddos will explore how kaleidoscopes work and discover the simple science behind the shifting designs they create before designing and building their own winter-themed kaleidoscopes. Using a variety of provided materials including beads, glitter, and sequins, each Kiddo will leave with a unique and functional work of art! All Creative Kiddos workshops are designed for kids ages 6 to 8 working alongside their adult caregivers.
