Join us as we recycle old magazines to create cool, new jewelry! In this workshop, kiddos will first gather inspiration during a reading of Paper Beads From Africa: Charities Started by Kids! by Melissa Sherman Pearl. Then, create unique beads by rolling, twisting, and gluing strips of colorful magazine paper. By stringing these strips together, participants will design one-of-a-kind bracelets or necklaces to take home. This eco-friendly activity encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and a fun way to turn everyday materials into wearable art. All Creative Kiddos workshops are designed for kids ages 6 to 8 working alongside their adult caregivers.
