Early learners will join us for story time as we read On the Bright Side by Anastasia Difino, then create bright, colorful sun-catcher butterflies to hang in a window at home! We will explore themes of optimism and community during story time, then move to color mixing by overlapping translucent colored squares on contact paper to create butterfly wings! This multi-step project focuses on color recognition and fine motor skills including cutting with safety scissors, tracing, and placing. Each child will leave with their own butterfly sun-catcher.
All Tots For Sculpture workshops are designed for kids ages 3 to 5 working alongside their adult caregivers.
