Tots For Sculpture Session Two | Lively Leaves

12:30 — 1:45PM
INDOORS
Price: $5 per child, materials fee
A piece of paper rolled back to reveal a pink leaf print on it.

Early learners will experiment with leaf prints and join story time featuring a reading of The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming. This workshop begins with a nature walk through our grounds, observing and collecting fallen leaves for our art project in the studio. Participants will select their colors and use their leaves in a pressing print technique. This activity spotlights the fall season and addresses mobility skills such as rolling, pressing, and the exploration of color mixing.

All Tots For Sculpture workshops are designed for children ages 3 to 5 working alongside their adult caregivers.

Children’s educational programming at Grounds For Sculpture is supported in part by Jirair S. and Elizabeth Hovnanian Family Foundation and PNC Foundation.
