A jar of blue glittery paint and three silver stars in front of it.
GFS

Early learners will capture galactic beauty in a jar and enjoy story time featuring a reading of Star in the Jar by Sam Hay. Children will use water, paint, and cotton balls – and of course a bit of stardust – to create their galactic jars! This project highlights fine motor skills such as squeezing, pulling, and placing. Each child will create their own glittery galaxy to take home.

Program accessibility information available.

Children’s educational programming at Grounds For Sculpture is made possible by generous support from the Jirair S. and Elizabeth Hovnanian Family Foundation. Additional support is provided by Knowledge Without Borders and PNC Foundation. Support is provided, in part, by Jenifer Morack, and Schaeder/Batterman Family Fund of the Princeton Area Community Foundation.
