Join staff from veteran-owned Dao Concepts and keep that drive to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle! This series promotes overall wellness through the practice of Sun Style Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese art that blends exercise with stress reduction. Each week will include a warmup, followed by low-impact Tai Chi movements necessary to learn the entire Sun Style 98 Traditional Form. Taking place outdoors at GFS, this is a unique opportunity to focus on both body and spirit, as you will be surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of art and nature. No experience needed; safe for all ages.

Please note: While each class builds upon previous lessons taught, a review of all previously lessons occurs at the beginning of each class. So don’t be discouraged if you miss a class; the staff at Dao Concepts will ensure you aren’t left behind and will enjoy learning the complete Sun Style 98 Traditional Form.

Instructor: Tony Jackson graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1989 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and served as a 1st Lieutenant, Airborne Ranger Infantryman with the US Army, then transitioned to his corporate career with Nestle, The Dial Corporation, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and AmerisourceBergen. Today, through his business Dao Concepts, Tony teaches Tai Chi to adults and Kung Fu to kids full-time. To learn more about Dao Concepts, please visit daoconcepts.com.
