*Ensure that you sign up for the entire program series. You’ll register for each class separately.*

This series takes place outdoors and promotes overall wellness through the practice of Sun Style Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese art that blends exercise with stress reduction. Each week will include a warmup, followed by low-impact Tai Chi movements necessarily to learn the entire Sun Style 98 Traditional Form. This series is a unique opportunity to focus on both the body and mind, as you are outdoors surrounded by both art and nature. Each class builds upon previous lessons and a review of past lessons occurs at the beginning of each class. Don’t be discouraged if you have to miss a class, staff will ensure you aren’t left behind and are able to learn the complete Sun Style 98 Traditional Form. No experience needed, safe for all ages. Admission to GFS is included, so feel free to enjoy the grounds!

Instructor: Tony Jackson graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1989 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and served as a 1st Lieutenant, Airborne Ranger Infantryman with the US Army, then transitioned to his corporate career with Nestle, The Dial Corporation, Roche Pharmaceuticals, and AmerisourceBergen. Today, through his business Dao Concepts, Tony teaches Tai Chi to adults and Kung Fu to kids full-time.
