Calling all Pokemon trainers! Join us for February’s Pokemon Go Community Day. Take a guided tour of the gardens based on routes in the Pokemon Go app, which will focus on GFS history and sculptures at Pokestops, take part in team activities in the Auditorium, trade and battle Pokemon with fellow trainers, and more! There will also be a chance to win a FREE GFS Family Membership, based on a sculpture hunt with your pokemon buddy.
Tours will be offered at 11:00AM, 12:30PM, and 2:15PM. This event is free with admission to GFS.
Never played Pokemon before? Experienced trainers will be on site to teach families how to play. There will also be about 40 Pokestops and 9 gyms at GFS, which are areas where people can spin to get items.
The day’s other activities will include:
- How to draw Pokemon Workstations on your team’s banner
- Countdowns to local raid battles that you and other players can work together and defeat
- Opportunities to trade Pokemon Cards with other players
- Lures will be set to attract more Pokemon to the area.
