Join us for an artful, autumn day trip to two of the Hudson Valley’s most vibrant art destinations: Storm King Art Center & Dia Beacon.
Our first half of the day will be spent at Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum where we will experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions among peak fall foliage. Upon arrival to Storm King, our group will enjoy a private tram tour to see the layout of the expansive grounds. The rest of our visit will be open for self-guided exploration at Storm King. Explore independently, or you’re welcome to explore with GFS staff!
In the afternoon, we will enjoy a self-guided visit exploring Dia Beacon, an art museum located on the banks of the Hudson River in a former Nabisco box-printing factory. Dia Beacon’s expansive galleries present the majority of Dia Art Foundation’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions.
