Learn how easy it is to create and care for a living succulent wreath with Horticulturist Jen Mothes. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn essential tips and tricks to help succulents thrive in your home. Jen will debunk the mysteries of how much water and light your succulents need to stay happy, healthy, and colorful! Then, take a walk in the garden to harvest the vines used to create your wreath form by hand. After a brief design demo, it’s your turn to create a beautiful wreath to take home! Admission to GFS and all materials included.
Instructor: Jen Mothes, Horticulturist, has been a member of the Horticulture team at GFS since 2022 and is currently pursuing her degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Jen believes that everything is connected, yet we have forgotten our ancient, biological need to connect with nature. Taking time to slow down, notice, and share the small wonders of our world has the power to teach us empathy and heal that broken connection.
