Herbs and Arts

Join us for a cozy and inspiring afternoon celebrating the flavors, traditions, and natural beauty of late autumn. This immersive seasonal experience invites participants to slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore the plants and botanical ingredients that capture the essence of the harvest season.

Through guided reflection and seasonal plant exploration, you’ll discover the scents, flavors, and stories associated with this time of year. You’ll then get hands-on with herbal crafting to create your own custom botanical cordial, thoughtfully inspired by the warmth and abundance of late autumn. Take home your handcrafted creation as a lasting reminder of the season and your time at Grounds For Sculpture.
Whether you’re new to herbal crafting or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend an autumn afternoon, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn, create, and connect in a welcoming setting. Weather permitting, portions of the workshop may be held outdoors, allowing participants to experience the seasonal landscape firsthand.

Admission to Grounds For Sculpture is included with registration.

Instructor: Amanda Crooke is the herbalist and owner of Locust Light Farm in NJ. She’s worked with herbs as a farmer, a medicine-maker, herbalist, and magic-maker for 8 years. Amanda is the “Herbal Pharmacy” teacher at David Winston’s Herbalist Training Program and has a private clinical practice.
