Dive into the exciting world of art explosion books! After gathering inspiration during a lively reading of Rudy & Claude Splash Into Art by Adam McHeffey – a story that celebrates experimentation and the joy of making art – Kiddos will create their own vibrant art explosion books using a special book-making technique. Similar to the dynamic folds of a pop-up book, these books explode to reveal the bold colors, textures, and creative details inside. This project encourages artistic expression, imaginative thinking and fine-motor development such as cutting, folding, grip strength, and designing. All Creative Kiddos workshops are designed for kids ages 6 to 8 working alongside their adult caregivers.
