Hand building is an intimate experience. This course for adults 55+ explores methods of draping, wrapping, and texturing hand rolled clay slabs. Create clay tiles, organic forms and expressive containers inspired by the outdoors. All levels welcome, and materials provided.
Instructor: Shawn Allen-Dela Rosa is a multi-disciplinary teaching artist based in Bucks County, PA. She holds a BFA from Kutztown University and worked as an illustrator and designer before entering the field of art and healthcare, bringing the fine arts to underserved populations. Currently Shawn leads museum workshops for adults and promotes the wellness benefits of hand craft.
