Connections That Stick! is a sticker-themed creative mixer that brings together artists and creatives from across New Jersey.
The event features four artists whose work reflects a commitment to creativity, community, and fostering inclusive spaces. Through artist showcases, networking opportunities, and interactive activities, attendees are encouraged to engage in meaningful discussions about art, mental health, career development, creative challenges, and collaboration.
To help break the ice and make networking more approachable, each attendee receives a punch card upon arrival and completes it by meeting featured artists and fellow attendees while collecting color-coded stickers throughout the event. This playful, community-focused activity encourages genuine conversations and helps create a welcoming environment where new connections can form naturally.
Once their punch card is completed, attendees receive a goody bag filled with stickers and a limited-edition collaborative sticker sheet created exclusively by the featured artists.
Instructor: Catherine Bontilao Allen is a visual artist, community organizer, and currently serves as the Digital Communications Specialist for the South Jersey Cultural Alliance and as the creator of Connections That Stick! Recently graduating with a BFA in Visual Communications, Catherine brings together her skills as an artist, graphic designer, web designer, illustrator, educational speaker, and content creator to support and uplift creative communities. Through her projects and professional work, she strives to create environments where artists and creatives can network, collaborate, and grow together.
