Join us for a very special members-only Candlelight Yoga + Meditation event in Grounds For Sculpture’s West Gallery on Monday, November 6 from 5:30PM-7PM. Debbi Gitterman of Sault Haus will lead us in a wellness session while surrounded by the beauty of twinkling candlelight and exclusive activation of the captivating sculpture Altar II by artist Michele Oka Doner. Part of the artist’s Sparks series, Altar II is an elaborate bronze sculpture designed to become a candelabra during ceremonial use.
From beginners to seasoned yogis, all are welcome to this program! Bring your own yoga mat. This event is rain or shine in our spacious West Gallery.
Instructor: Debbi Gitterman is an experienced yoga instructor and certified yoga therapist (RYT-550 with Yoga Alliance) who began her journey on the mat over twenty years ago. Debbi firmly believes in the healing power of yoga. Her goal is to empower practitioners to take control of their own health and wellbeing though movement, attention to breath, and meditation. Her expertise lies in making yoga accessible for every body. Debbi is adept at demystifying poses, simplifying breath work, and making mediation practicable, all with humor, whimsy, and compassion.
