Tallur, L.N., 'Iron Age', 2013, cast iron, 67 x 34 x 22 inches, Courtesy of the Artist and Jack Shainman Gallery, photo: Nicholas Knight.

During this drop-in, participatory program, we invite you to deepen your experience of Interference Fringe | TALLUR L.N. through a series of evocative tasks, asking you to connect profoundly with the works. Dive into this self-guided exploration and continue at your own pace while recording your thoughts, recollections or drawings throughout the experience. These journals of (re)collection will provide the conceptual framework of movement during the culminating performance.

anamnesis is an Artist in Residence project with interdisciplinary artist donia salem hahoor, which considers the thought-provoking exhibit, Interference Fringe | TALLUR L.N., through the complicated lens of memory. Throughout the month of November, visitors are invited to consider both recollection and erasure of the personal, collective, cultural, and historic through a series of participatory programs. The series will culminate in a public sharing of movement and story that draws from the inquiries and discoveries made over the course of the residency.
