Peter Lundberg received a Bachelor’s degree in both art and mathematics from Skidmore College, and then went on to receive an M.F.A. from Bennington College in 1985. In 1995, he established the Connecticut Sculpture Park, located on 35-acres of the historic Averill farm property in the town of New Preston. Prior to that project, Lundberg was instrumental in the creation of sculpture parks in Sweden and Berlin. He was an artist-in-residence at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City from 1994-97; Sculpture Space in Utica, NY; and in Europe at sites in Berlin, Germany and Halltorp, Sweden. During the past several years, in addition to participating in group exhibitions, one-person shows of his works have been held in New York City, Utica, Pittsburgh, and in Germany, Sweden, and Czechoslovakia. He lives in New York State.
