Uniquely situated across 42-acres of restored landscape that was once home to the New Jersey State Fairgrounds, Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) presents annual changing exhibitions in four indoor galleries.  GFS is committed to supporting the creation of new works and encouraging artists to expand their practice.  Since 1992 when the sculpture park first opened its doors, more than 700 artists have displayed work at GFS, and the exhibition program remains committed to giving the artist a voice, challenging perceptions, and prompting conversations.  As a result, some of the most important and engaging artists in contemporary sculpture, from both national and international, emerging and renowned artists continue to shape our history.
