New Works in the Park 

In the new Fall/Winter Season (October 16, 2011 - April 22, 2012), Grounds For Sculpture presents new artwork outdoors by Seward Johnson.

Currently untitled, the new work by artist and Grounds For Sculpture founder, is an homage to the mythical Three Fates and has a decidedly playful and irreverent twist.

This season also includes the premier exhibition in The Meadow, GFS's 7-acre outdoor gallery.  Featuring the massive steel root creations of Steve Tobin, Aerial Roots, opened to the public on October 1.  Eighteen flatbed trucks delivered this tremendous body of work, which includes 23 works from the artist's 'Steelroots' and 'Earth Bronzes' series, to the newest parcel of land at Grounds For Sculpture, located on the south side of the park.  Aerial Roots will be on exhibit through August 2012 so visitors may return to marvel at how they change with the seasons.
