FAQ and Etiquette
Welcome to Grounds For Sculpture. It’s a special, magical place with so much for you to enjoy. To help you and others make the most of your visit, please observe these simple rules.
Please Touch….Most of the Time
We encourage you to touch the sculptures (respectfully), but only if they are marked with a green tag. If the tag is red, please don’t. It’s for the safety of you and the art. And of course climbing is never allowed. We also hope you stop and smell the roses...but please leave them where they are.
Your Safety is Important
Adults must accompany children at all times and take care to ensure their safety around the many water features in the park. Please use common sense like staying on paths and even surfaces and not trying to cross water. If you are elderly, infirm, injured or pregnant, PLEASE take special care and ask for help from our staff. They’re happy to do so.
Peacocks and Wildlife
They’re everywhere. Please don’t chase or try to touch or feed them. But don’t be afraid either. They’re tame and love to have their pictures taken - from a distance.
Drones are not allowed at the park.
Help Us Keep It Clean
We are 100% smoke-free and proud of how clean we keep our park. So please - no smoking - dispose of all trash in receptacles.
Food & Beverages
We must insist that you not bring food or beverages into the park. Delicious, affordable dining options are available here at the park.
Pets are not allowed at the park. Pets are not allowed to be left in vehicles. Services animals are, of course, permitted.
GFS is so special for its many tranquil places and the opportunity to peacefully relax. So please respect the needs of others. Keep the noise down. Don’t run. No roughhousing and no sports.
Photos, videos, and art-making are strongly encouraged. But it’s just for you and never for commercial purposes without advanced written permission.
Observing these simple rules will help you and everyone around you enjoy the park to its fullest and keep it ready for the next time you visit.

What are timed tickets?
Timed tickets are general admission tickets issued for a specific date and arrival time. With a timed ticket, a limited number of guests enter each hour for shorter lines and a better guest experience.
Do Members, Library Pass holders, or Guest Pass holders need a timed ticket?
Members, Library Pass holders and Guest Pass holders do not require a timed ticket and may enter at anytime we are open. Please note: Mother's Day does require a free member reservation and guest passes are not accepted on that day.
What times are tickets available?
Tickets are available to purchase each hour from 10 AM to one hour before closing.
Where do I check-in when I arrive?
Tickets are checked in at the Welcome Center Admissions desk. After check-in, you will receive wristbands to walk the grounds.
What if we arrive late after our scheduled entry time?
Grounds For Sculpture will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, but if no tickets are available, you may have to return when the next time slot is available.
What if we arrive early?
For the best possible experience, we recommend you arrive within your scheduled hour. Early arrivals may not be admitted.
Do we have to leave at a specific time?
No, timed tickets apply to arrival times only and you may stay as long as we are open.
We didn't know about timed tickets, will we be admitted?
Grounds For Sculpture will make all efforts to accommodate you, but if all time slots are sold out, you may need to return on another day to visit.
How far in advance should I buy my tickets? What happens if it rains?
Tickets can be purchased online the same day up to one hour before you visit while still available. Please note that weekends and holidays with favorable weather may sell quickly and advanced purchase is recommended. Please plan accordingly for the weather when purchasing tickets. Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged.
What happens if I do not receive my tickets?
Tickets are sent by email. If you do not receive an acknowledgement with your ticket link, please check your spam folder. If you still can not find your tickets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
or call (609)-586-0616.
Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets for another day?
All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for another date and time.
Can I apply my tickets to a Membership?
Yes, you may present your tickets at the time of purchasing a membership.
