Conversations on Creativity: An Evening with Elizabeth Gilbert

Grounds For Sculpture is delighted to present this very special engagement with acclaimed author Elizabeth Gilbert, whose novel Eat, Pray, Love exploded onto the literary scene in 2006. Called “a generation’s instruction manual” by The Toronto Sun, the bestseller famously chronicled the year Gilbert spent traveling the world after a shattering divorce. In the decade since, people around the world have sought Gilbert’s advice on how to lead a bold and inspired life, and she has dedicated herself to exploring the mysteries of courage and creativity. This program will begin with a lecture that draws upon insights explored in Gilbert’s most recent nonfiction work, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear and conclude with questions from the audience. All guests will receive a hardcover edition of this book. VIPs will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the author during a light fare reception beginning at 6:00pm, receive a signed copy of Big Magic, and enjoy preferred seating during the program.
